On 24 February 2017, II regional student Olympiad was held in accounting and audit named after K.K. Karakessov. Students team of KSTU in specialty “Accounting and audit” Rysspekov Zhandos, Meyrkaliyeva Gulzat, Khassenova Adilya took second place in the team standings, and Rysspekov Zhandos was awarded a diploma in the nomination “Best erudite”. Team leader was senior teacher of “Economics of enterprise” deparrtment Sultanova Gulstan Isakovna.
