Department of Energy was established in 1956 and the action exists at present.
The Department is training and research structural units KSTU conducting educational, methodical and scientific research work. It also conducts educational work among the students, the training of science teachers and improve their skills. The department trains undergraduate and graduate professionals in the field of power engineering and power generation.
Department of “Energy” has 11 academic and research laboratories, including three computer labs equipped with modern computers to perform laboratory work, course and diploma projects. Technical base of laboratories is constantly being upgraded regularly monitored modern pieces of electrical equipment, and made appropriate changes to the laboratory facilities. Created a unique equipment for field experiments, “Layout CHP turbine generator” and “Model of heat production facilities”.
The Department of Energy in the learning process works as a database of practices with such enterprises as JSC “KZELTO” LLP, “KaREM”, JSC “Eurasian Energy Corporation”, JSC “Shubarkolkomir.”
