On March 6, 2024, the Department of Information and Computing Systems of the Faculty of Innovative Technologies held a Faculty Week, which was attended by 13 graduates from Lyceum School #53, school #65, Karaganda Higher Technical College, Mining College.
The purpose of the meeting is to help future applicants understand the world of professions and decide on a path in the field of information technology.
At this event, students of secondary educational institutions met with professors and students of the department, learned about the latest achievements in the field of IT and talked with practitioners.
Potential applicants received information about the Department of Information and Computing Systems, and about the areas of training of the Faculty of Information Technology. The presentations helped the participants to understand the importance of the IT sector and the opportunities it provides in terms of career growth.
The master class allowed the participants to gain practical skills in the fields of 3D modeling, machine programming and materials research, which gave them the basis for further self-education.
