Enrolled in the program “Serpin-2050” visited the Historical and cultural center of The first President in Temirtau


Students KSTU enrolled in the program “Serpin-2050”, October 17, visited the Historical and cultural center of The first President in Temirtau. Students were given a tour of the expository halls of the center. They were presented the history of formation of independent Kazakhstan and giant heavy industry of our country — Kazakhstan Magnitka. Students were given a tour of the expository halls of the Center, during which they saw the history of formation of Independent Kazakhstan and giant heavy industry of our country Kazakhstan Magnitka through the prism of biography of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev.
Under the program “Serpin -2050” for 2015-2016 academic year The University received 321 state educational grants for 14 specialties.
The applicants admitted to the University under this program are provided with comfortable hostel, also they will be assisted in finding employment after graduation.
The University provides its students the best conditions for successful learning: the University has modern classrooms, five centres of working professions in the field of mining, welding technologies, engineering, construction, telecommunications, the Institute of welding. A special place in the activities of the University to improve the educational process and the scientific research is the Testing laboratory of engineering profile “Complex development of mineral resources”, created on the competitive basis in pursuance of an order of the head of the state N.A.Nazarbayev, established 20 innovation centers. Also the University has a sports complex and a summer camp nestled in the mountains of Karkaralinsk city.
