On 20 October 2023, at 10.55, there will be an educational event of the English Language Department: Debates: The Youth’s View on the Future of the Country”, where students will have an opportunity to discuss the future of our country. Our debates in English are a unique opportunity to discuss current issues, develop communication skills and express ideas
The aim of the event:
To create an environment for young people where they can express their views and explore issues important for the future of our country in English.
Objectives:
- To promote the development of public speaking skills in English.
- To promote reasoned views on current social, economic and political issues.
- To encourage tolerant discussion and mutual understanding among students.
Young people are the future of our country and their opinion is of great importance. We live in a rapidly changing world where it is important to be able to analyse information and build reasoned positions. Debates will give them the opportunity to develop critical thinking and participate in the discussion of key topics.
