About the Center
Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University actively supports the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development and strives to contribute to solving current global challenges. The University develops the culture of sustainable development in the educational environment and annually expands its efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals through education, research, community initiatives, social responsibility and industrial activities. Particular attention is paid to issues of improving health and well-being, ensuring accessible and high-quality education, promoting gender equality and reducing inequality, developing an environmentally sustainable campus, rational consumption of resources, water management and sustainable development of local communities. In addition, the University contributes to the country’s economic growth by supporting innovation and professional development of its employees.
- The Center was organized to promote the ideas of the Sustainable Development Goals and to implement them in practice at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
- The Center performs work to implement the ESG goals, to promote the promotion of the UN SDG.
