This year, the Head of State Address outlined large-scale plans to transform Kazakhstan into a digital state. Today, we are jointly implementing one of the largest programs in this area. Kazakh students have received about 350 thousand certificates on the Coursera platform, including 2,304 achievements of students of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University. Along with this, dozens of courses have been adapted into the Kazakh language, and higher education institutions are successfully integrating online courses into academic programs. An especially important fact is that leading digital resources have become available to students of all the universities in the country. Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University is also actively involved in the implementation of the national AI-Sana project aimed at training specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and its widespread implementation in education, science and entrepreneurship. In addition, within the framework of the annual international Coursera conference, Kazakhstan received international recognition: the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek was awarded the prestigious international Learning Hero award. This is one of the clearest evidences of the high assessment given to the development of the education system in our country.
