In our college, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, a meeting entitled “Tribute to the Veterans of Afghanistan!” was held.


The main guests of the meeting were veterans of the Afghan war Aitpay Mukhtarovich Zhumatayev, Marat Nurmukhanbetovich Abildinov and Sergali Zhumagulovich Toktabev. This informative and touching meeting became a vivid manifestation of heroism and courage, courage and patriotism.
During the event, our veteran brothers shared their memories of their experiences on the battlefield and deeply reflected on the value of military friendship, the importance of discipline and responsibility, and their duty to the Motherland. They conveyed the burden of war and the value of peaceful life through real examples. In addition, our college history teacher Rakhat Rysbekovich Nesipov briefly recounted excerpts from historical events. Each story told made us think deeply and urged us to respect history.
The meeting continued in a question-and-answer format, and the students asked their questions and received clear and impressive answers. The veterans called on the youth to love their country, be educated, and maintain unity and peace.
Such meetings are an important educational event that fosters a patriotic spirit and enhances patriotic qualities in the younger generation. The heroism of our brave brothers will never be forgotten, and their moral life path will always remain an example.
