Exhibition “Innovations in education and science” named after academician of NAS RK A.S.saginov is situated in foyer of the main building. Opening of exhibition was within the scale of integrated programme of university development on realization of strategic objectives, defined in Message of President of the republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev to Kazakhstan’s people. June 19, 2008 on day of signing an agreement on innovative-educational consortium “Corporate university” and was opened innovations exhibition, where innovative developments of KSTU scientists are presented.
There should be noted special role of founder, master of science and higher education, Hero of Socialistic labour, academician A.S.Saginov in the destiny of KSTU. His life is an example of example of dedication and hard work: the ingenious scientist, talented pedagogue and organizer, sincere intelligent, great humanist and real patriot. His image became the appearance of Karaganda state technical university.
Central place of exhibition takes picture of President of the RK in full growth. Nursultan Abishevich was studying the basics of general and technical disciplines at KSTU during 1963 – 1965. There presented personal card of Nursultan Nazarbayev, application about enrollment on evening faculty by specialty “Metallurgy of ferrous metals”, application on transfer from evening department to full-time one.
Also there’s presented initiatives chronicle of Head of the state in the sphere of education and science.
