Vice-rector on academic work


Victor Vladimirovich Yegorov – Candidate of Technical Science (1975), Doctor of Pedagogical Science (1995), Professor (1997). He was elected as the working member of the International Academy of Informatization in 2000, in 2001 – of Russian Academy of Professional Education, in 2005 – of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Kazakhstan, in 2008 – of the Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences.

 

V. Yegorov graduated from the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute with conferring qualification “engineer-metallurgist” (1968). Later on he worked at various engineer positions at the production complex “Kargormash”, was an ordinary engineer, a workshop head, chief metallurgist.  In 1975 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical science.

From 1976 to 1986 he worked as a senior teacher, then a docent of Karaganda Polytechnic Institute. From 1986 he worked at Karaganda Pedagogical Institute as the head of a chair, then as a vice-rector. From 1989 to 1992 he worked at Moscow State Pedagogical University named after V.I.Lenin. At the same time he was a trainee at the USSR Academy of Pedagogical Science.

In 1995 he defended his dissertation for the degree of doctor of pedagogical science. From 1996 to 2006 he was a dean of Karaganda State University named after E.A.Buketov.

Many years he carries out applied studies in the field of foundry molds compaction, automation and mechanization of foundry. The result of this work is the introduction of pulse technologies and equipment at the plants of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.

The main field of activity of Victor Vladimirovich Yegorov is the professional pedagogy. V.V. Yegorov formed a scientific school whose general trend corresponds to the main tendencies of developing professional pedagogy in the conditions of the society informatization. Under his supervision there were defended 6 doctors’, 32 candidates’ and 7 masters’ dissertations.

He was an organizer and the chairman of the united council on defending doctors’ dissertations on pedagogical programmes. (2005)

V.V. Yegorov published over 600 scientific works including monographs, textbooks recommended by the Republic of Kazakhstan MES, training aids, brochures, author’s certificates, patents, articles on present-day technology, professional pedagogy, informatization of engineering-pedagogical education. He has over 40 inventions, patents, electronic textbooks and automated teaching programs.

He was awarded with the USSR and KaSSR EANE medals, a jubilee medal “For valiant labor to the 100th anniversary of V.I.Lenin”, Honorary diploma of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science, the breastplates “Excellent worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan  Education”, “Honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Education”. He is the winner of the competition for the best published educational and educational-methodological literature among higher educational institutions which train engineering-pedagogical staff. He was conferred a certificate for the best textbook “Technology of metals and metal study with the test tasks” (Almaty: Gylym, 2000). In 2005 he was conferred the title of the laureate of the International foundation named after A.G. Nebolsin prize  for the services in the field of professional education development. He was awarded with a medal “For services in the Republic of Kazakhstan science development”. In 2005 he became a holder of Kazakhstan state grant “Best teacher of higher school”. In the same year he became a holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan MES scholarship “For outstanding contribution in Kazakhstan science development”. In 2009 he was conferred an IGIP certificate “INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING EDUCATOP “ING-DAED IGIP”. In the same year he was awarded with a medal “Y. Altynsarin”.
