The Department of Higher Mathematics of the Karaganda State Technical University in order to educate and improve the quality of independent research work of students in grades 10-11, as well as students and master students, organizes paid seminars in following areas:
- Basic foundations of mathematical research;
- Solutions of various olympiads’ problems;
- «Mathematics is easy» for everyone to understand the sections of higher mathematics with possibility of its further application in corresponding specialties’ special courses.
Aims and objectives of the seminars
ü Preparing students for independent research in mathematics and related subjects;
ü Creating opportunities for practical application of knowledge gained during process of training in educational programs;
ü Students’ skills formation in searching, processing and analysis of information from various sources;
ü Developing in students skills necessary for presenting finished work results (to have a debate, express one’s own opinion, analyze level of one’s own knowledge).
Seminars are held when recruiting a group of 10 people, 40 hours. Payment 28200 tenge.
