HISTORY


With the growth of the industrial potential of the region, the role of transport has increased significantly, so in 1964 it was decided to organize an independent department of industrial transport, which separated from the Department of mining machines and complexes.

From 1968 to 1993, the department was headed by one of the first graduates of the Karaganda Mining Institute, who graduated from the postgraduate course of the Moscow Mining Institute, Daniyarov Asylkhan Nurmukhametovich. For 25 years of work under his leadership, the department has become one of the leading ones in the Karaganda Polytechnic Institute. Taking into account his achievements in educational, methodological and scientific activities, in the formation of the Institute and the Department of Industrial Transport, by the decision of the Institute’s Council in 1994, the Department of Industrial Transport became known as the Department of Industrial Transport named after Professor Asylkhan Nurmukhametovich Daniyarov.

From 1994 to 2010, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Malybaev Saken Kadyrkenovich.

From July to December 2010, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Daniyarov Nurlan Asylkhanovich.

From December 2010 to June 2011, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Toleu Kunzholovich Balgabekov.

From July 2011 to March 2014, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Akashev Arsen Zakirovich.

From April 2014 to March 2016, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences Toleu Kunzholovich Balgabekov.

From March 2016 to March 2019, the Department of “Industrial Transport” was headed by PhD Doctor Huanggang Nurbol

From August 2020 to the present, the Department of “Industrial Transport” is headed by Doctor of PhD Askarov Bakhtiyar Sharapidenovich.

The purpose of the department of “Industrial Transport” is to provide educational services for high-quality training of transport specialists with an innovative style of thinking and able to independently solve problems in the field of transport on the basis of the systematic use of knowledge.

The department provides training on two trajectories of the educational program “Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport”: industrial transport; railway transport. The department conducts training at two levels of university education: bachelor’s and master’s degree.
