5 April 2017. at the youth Palace of students “Zhastar Alemi” was held a festive program dedicated to the geologist Day. The meeting was attended by representatives of the teaching staff of the University and large industrial enterprises of the region. Talented students of the mining faculty has delighted guests with a bright concert program.
The event was a chief researcher of LLP “- IPKON” P. V. Ermolov; acting head of MD “Tsentrkaznedra” B. G. Musaeva; President of LLP “Tsentrgeolanalit” H. K. Ismailov and employees of this organization R. M. Antonyuk and G. K. Salimova, Director of LLP “Karaganda engineering consortium” B. M. Kenzhin; Director of LLP “azimuth Geology” by R. K. Mustafin, and other prominent representatives of the industrial sector in the region.
In his speech rector of the University for scientific work Sergey Georgievich Origin said: “Geology is a special world and geologists are special people. We work with the bowels of the earth not only in order to get her something. We are developing our plans to ensure that its reserves are not depleted and, at the same time, people could live comfortably, using her generosity. Therefore, I appeal to our students: wear proudly the banner of the graduates of the Mining faculty of the University, do not drop the dignity of the faculty, working for the glory of their country and our University.”
The priority of the Geology of our region is almost impossible to overestimate. That is why such an event is extremely important.
Day of Geologist – professional holiday of geologists, hydrogeologists, engineering geologists, geophysicists, geochemists, geo-ecology and other geological specialties.
C 1966, this holiday is traditionally celebrated in the Soviet Union, and continues to be celebrated in some countries of the former Soviet Union, on the first Sunday of April.
