On 15 February, a meeting of representatives of akim’s office from Kayzbekbiz district with teachers, academic staff and students of KSTU was held. The main purpose of the meeting was explanation of the points of President’s message to the nation: “Third modernization of Kazakhstan: global competitiveness”. The head of the State Legal Department Kairzhan Mukayevich Edembayev and Farida Kadyrovna Darybayeva, department of documentary maintenance is in her authority.
Five major priorities outlined by the head of state in the last message were explained. The issues of country’s modernization, the development of industrial and economic sectors of society, actual problems of small and medium business were raised. New trends that promote anti-corruption, xenophobia and terrorism were considered as well. The tasks facing the system of technical and IT education, as a defining structure in the modern information world were separately pointed out.
At the end of his speech, Kairzhan Edembayev said: “This message concerns all of us. As all of us have a sense of patriotism and love for our country. Therefore, each of us is not only a witness to the great success of our country, but also a direct participant in the process of the formation of the great nation of Kazakhstan” – he noted.
