Representatives of the “Centre of educational policy” AEO “Nazarbayev University” (hereinafter – CEP) within the scope of holding scientific-research project “Improvement of management system and ensuring quality of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan with a glance to international experience” visited Karaganda State Technical University in September 12, 2012.
The objective of the event was studying of fundamental conceptual-methodological, organizational- methodological innovative standards and procedures of management and quality of education in the RK.
Foreign partner of CEP within the scope of Project is University of Pennsylvania headed by professor, scientific supervisor of the Project Mathew Hartley.
Such important issues as necessary reforms in the system of Kazakhstan’s higher education, important changes during development of University, as well as problems which University has faced and faces with in its development during the meeting.
Within the scope of meeting Mathew Hartley made a report on scientific-methodological seminar “Implementation problems of Bologna process” on theme “Improvement of management system and ensuring the quality of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan with a glance to international experience”.
Rector of KSTU, academician NAS RK Gazaliyev A.M. met the guests. There was held introductory excursion on University for guests, during it they visited laboratory, library, Saginov exhibition hall of innovations.
