At Karaganda State Technical University started the international scientific-practical conference “Integration of science, education and production – the basis for implementation of the Plan of the nation”.
International scientific-practical conference in the walls of KSTU was held for 33 years and is annual. Since 2009, the conference bears the name of Abylkas Saginov in the memory of the founder of University.
The plenary session was opened by the rector of KSTU Marat Kenesovich Ibatov. In his speech he said that the conference is constantly growing and it brings together the leading scientists and specialists from different countries. – “Saginov readings are the symbiosis of science, production and education. Every word on Saginov readings weight in gold, because such conference directly impact on the strengthening and modernization of production of Karaganda region”- said KSTU rector M.K. Ibatov.
The conference was attended by 127 scientists from Kazakhstan and 18 countries of near and far abroad, representatives of MES and Deputy akim of Karaganda region for social issues and domestic policy Zh.A. Abishev. Also, it was attended by 45 senior executives of Corporate University.
570 reports were presented from scientists and experts on Saginov readings from 124 organizations from the USA, France, Canada, Poland, Austria, Turkey, Russia and other countries of the world. Particular importance the conference attaches to the participation of heads and leading specialists of major industrial enterprises of Kazakhstan: “ArcelorMittal Temirtau” JSC, “Kazakhmys Corporation” LLP, “Sokolov-Sarbai mining and processing production association” JSC and others.
The hallmark of the ninth Saginov readings were 13 sections aimed at upgrading industry in the region, which are included in “Industrialization Map” 2015-2019 year. The following sections worked withtin the conference: “Education XXI century”, “Energy of the future – innovative trend of EXPO-2017”, “IT – and Smart technologies”, “Problems and prospects of development of mining industry”, “Resource-saving technologies in mechanical engineering”” and “Innovations in metallurgy”, “New materials and technologies”, “Architecture, building materials and technologies””, “”Transport and logistics”, “Socio-economic development of society”, “Entrepreneurship as a factor of innovative development of society”, “Chemical and Biological Sciences”, “Earth Science”.
Also, in the framework of the conference Swiss company Leica Geosystems on sponsor basis presented the University the instrument – theodolite. In the near future it will be used in Zhayrem, Satpayev and Shubarmkol mining and processing plants for measuring horizontal and vertical angles in surveys.
Ninth Saginov readingings were conducted for two days. Following the conference, the participants unanimously adopted the resolution.
