Presentation of the sculptural composition of metallurgists, the gift of the family of the deserved sculptor Bilyk AP was held. And laying flowers at the monument to the founder of the University Abylkas S.S.
Students of the 1st year, accompanied by curators of academic groups, heads of departments, deputy deans in educational work and deans of faculties, swore an oath of students. The best students of senior courses with parting words were given a model of the student’s ticket to the best first-year students – holders of the breastplate “Altyn belgi”.
For students with concert numbers, participants of the creative circles of the University made speeches. At the end of the festive concert all freshmen were invited to the curatorial hours “Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism among students”.
