Students of KSTU took an active part in the IX Regional youth Delphic games held in Karaganda from 18 to 23 June 2013 A student of KSTU Nurbolat Мukhametzhanov took the 1st place in the nomination “Folk instruments”. Second place was awarded to Zhandos Kadenov. In the nominations «Folk singing» and «Variety singing» Sagyndyk Аkhmediyanov, Zolkarnaiyn Antayev and Dina Mukanova took the 3rd place. Dance ensemble of KSTU «Exclusive» was recognized as the best in the competition «Folk dances», in nomination «Modern dance» 1 place was given to the dance group «REIZ». Best game on the saxophone was demonstrated by Yuri Natdochy. The first place in nomination «Photo» was awarded to the employee of SRI EET named after the first President of Kazakhstan. All students passed to the regional round of the competition.
Youth Delphic games of Kazakhstan are held in order to identify and support talented youth, formation of Patriotic consciousness of the young generation on the basis of achievements of Kazakhstan during the years of Independence, preservation and development of the sense of pride for their country, the practical development of the growing worldwide ideas of the Delphic games as the Higher forum of arts, preservation and augmentation of cultural heritage of Kazakhstan and upbringing the youth in the spirit of tolerance and interest in other cultures.
