On 17 November 2017, Career Centre staff of Karaganda State Technical University organized a meeting of students with representatives of Management company “System” and “Borusan Makina Kazakhstan LLP” LLP.
Considering the difference in specificity of work of these companies, the composition of the audiences who were asked by their representatives was different. The representative of the Management company “System” Olzhabayeva Asiya – Manager of the Department for Human Resources (HR) met with students and undergraduates studying in the field “Power Engineering”, “Engineering” and “Construction”. Beissenbekova Saltanat Batarkhanova on behalf of the company “Borusan Makina” addressed to future graduates of the specialty “Transport, transport technics and technologies” and told about participation in training and subsequent employment in the company. Performances were accompanied by short videos and detailed presentations, where the goals and directions of the activities of these companies and the opportunities they can provide to graduates of our University were presented.
Improving the competitiveness of future graduates is a leading principle of the strategic policy of our University, focused on the promotion of employment of University students in leading companies and firms of the region and republic. Organizing meetings of students with potential employers and creating opportunities for consultation with existing market companies and working conditions adopted in them, the leadership and teaching staff of KSTU provide its students the opportunity to minimize the adaptation period between the diploma and a job in the specialty.
