On February 28, 2018, a presentation of the new book “Society, institutions and social science” by a leading sociologist and political scientist, PhD, Associate Professor Yessengarayev Yesset Zhemisbekovich was held at 11:00 in the conference hall of the main building of KSTU.
Moderator of the presentation: Asem Serikovna Sagatova – Head of History of Kazakhstan Department of KSTU.
The presentation was attended by professor, PhD of E.A. Buketov KSU, Zauresh Galimzhanova Saktaganova; Vice-rector for Educational Affairs of KSTU, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Nazym Amangazievna Alpysbayeva; Yessengarayev Yesset Zhemisbekovich, PhD, Associate Professor, author of “Society, institutions and social science”, teachers, scientists and students of KSTU.
E. Zh. Yessengarayev graduated from the History Faculty of E.A. Buketov KSU and the postgraduate course of M.V. Lomonossov Moscow State University. He works in the field of sociology and political science. His research interests are related to the problems of modernization and evolution of institutions. He has extensive experience in teaching and in providing consulting services on issues of socio-political technologies. He was published in scientific journals of Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as in various media of Kazakhstan on socio-political issues.
In his speech, author E. Zh. Yessengarayev, PhD, emphasized the importance of institutions and social sciences for the modernization of public systems.
The book is devoted to the development of modernization. Modernization of society can be successful if it is able to change its knowledge and organization of the elements of their lives.
“It is necessary to practice complexity” he says. – Then the younger generation will develop, and so our society.
At the end of the event there was an interesting discussion between the author of the book and the students. Students fiercely defended their point of view about our society, and E. Zh. Yessengaraev in turn sent their attitudes and thoughts in the right direction.
