On the basis of the agreement on double-diploma education of undergraduates in the specialty “Instrument making” with the Tomsk Polytechnic University on a business trip for double-diploma education at the IIT TPI department in November-December 2013 were undergraduates c. PSM-12-1 Esimov R., Mametova G., Seytmukhanova A.
On the basis of the contract 68-СД11 from 01.12.11 on cooperation with Omsk State Technical University (Russia) in the field of science and education in November 2013. 9 undergraduates c. PSM-12-1 department passed an internship in OmSU.
On the basis of the agreement on double-diploma education of undergraduates in the specialty “Instrument Engineering” with the Tomsk Polytechnic University in the Department of IIT on June 19, 2014 three master’s theses were defended by the undergraduates of the PSM-12 group: Esimov R., Mametova G., Seitmukhanova A.

In March 2015, undergraduates were on internships in the Czech Republic at Prague Agrarian Industrial University.
At the PS department on June 19, 2015, theses for this program were defended by 2 undergraduates from TPU (E. Dudin and A. Naamatov).

At the ITPS department on June 19, 2015, theses for the DoubleDegree 2 program were first defended by undergraduates from TPU (E. Dudin and A. Naamatov).

From February 1 to February 26, 2016 on the basis of a cooperation agreement between KSTU and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. Peter the Great PSM-14-1 undergraduate student A.Ye. From April 18 to April 27, 2016 5 undergraduates of the PSM-15-1 group: Akhmoldaeva G.R., Smagulova S.K., Satanova A.S. passed the scientific internship of the Mina Nancy School of the National Institute of Loraine (France, Nancy).
On the basis of the agreement on the double-diploma education of undergraduates in the specialty “Instrumentation” with the Tomsk Polytechnic University at the Department of IIT TPU in June 2016 defended master’s theses undergraduates c. PSM-14-1: Brazhanova D.K., Eralinova G.
From September 1, 2016 to January 22, 2017, on the basis of a cooperation agreement between KSTU and Tomsk Polytechnic University, students of the PS-13-1 group Aldanazarov Aidan and Yesbolat Ainur under the academic mobility program went to the Tomsk Polytechnic University.
In 2017, joint scientific articles of teachers of the department with scientists from leading foreign countries were published.
From April 1 to April 14, A. Aaynbekov, G. Rakova, N. Taupyқ, A. Tursunova (all PSM-16-1k) completed a scientific internship at the Vilnius State Technical University of Lithuania, T. Zhakishev (PSM-16-2), Maksimova A. (MET-16). From 8 to 22 April 2017, they completed a scientific internship at the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University named after Peter the Great (Russia).
In June 2018, undergraduates Zhakisheva TM, Taupyқ NN, who are studying under the DoubleDegree program at the Department of Physical Methods and Instrumentation for Quality Control of the Institute of Non-Destructive Testing at TPU, successfully defended their master’s theses.
In the fall semester of the 2018/2019 academic year, undergraduate of the 2nd course of TPU Berdalinov S. studied at the ITPS department of KarGTU.
