Education
High technical education in the field of “Electrification and automation of mining operations”. Qualification – electrical engineer.
Defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of technical sciences on the specialty “Mining machines”.
He is an Academician of the International Academy of Informatization.
Work experience
From 1989 to 1999 he worked in engineering and technical positions at the mines of the Karaganda coal basin.
Since 1999 he has been working in Karaganda State Technical University. From 2002 to 2014 he worked as deputy dean of the Faculty of distance learning KSTU.
Associate Professor of the Department of Energy Systems.
Since September 2015, he holds the post of the dean of the Faculty of Energy, Automation and Telecommunications.
Professional skills and knowledge
He is actively engaged in scientific activities, participates in the implementation of scientific and contractual work to improve the operation of electromechanical equipment of coal mines in the Karaganda region and drainage mines in the city of Ekibastuz. Regularly published, participates in International and Republican conferences with reports on innovative developments in the field of mining mechanics, energy and distance education. By results of scientific researches 5 monographs, more than 80 scientific works are published, 5 innovative patents of the Republic of Kazakhstan are received.
As an expert, he took part in the work of the governmental commission when investigating the causes of the explosion at the VILenin mine of Mittal Steel Temirtau JSC. He took part in the work of the expert group of NKAO for specialized accreditation.
During the period of pedagogical activity, 15 teaching aids and 34 certified electronic textbooks were issued. Currently he is giving lecture courses for students of specialties 5В071800 – “Power engineering” and 5В071700 – “Heat power engineering”, 5В071900 – “Radio electronics and telecommunications”. He is the scientific supervisor of students and undergraduates.
He has gratitude from the rector of KSTU and the Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of Education and Science of the Karaganda region.
The owner of the state grant “The best teacher of the university” of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2016.
He was awarded with a breastplate “Excellence in Mining Science”.
He has got a letter of thanks from the Akim of the city of Karaganda.
