On 14 March, the sixth regional competition “Chinese Bridge – 2017” was held in Confucius Institute of KSTU. The pupils and students of Karaganda Polytechnic University performed in front of competent jury from China to demonstrate their knowledge of the language and culture of China.
In addition to skills to read, speak and translate Chinese, the participants demonstrated their skills in the technique of martial art wushu, dance and Chinese hieroglyphic painting on rice paper.
Sabina Talgatovna Shalgimbaeva received the first place of the contest among students, silver was received by Alexandra Kazantseva, and the third winner became Vera Isakova.
Prizes in competitions were distributed in the following way among students:
First place: Alexander Kuznetsov School No. 50;
Second place: Kirill Tyn School № 50;
Third place: Gaukhar Zhumabayeva School No. 68.
