October 8, 2015 for the first time in our mining town has arrived the Ambassador of France in Kazakhstan Francis Etienne. He was accompanied by Guillaume Kasperski, Advisor on culture and cooperation of Embassy of France in RK, Michel Le Devia, the representative of the Ministry of education, higher education and science of the French Republic, Syrian Nogent, technical expert of the Centre for Schneider electric, Tom Huet, Attaché for scientific and technical cooperation, Embassy of France in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Irina Dmitrienko, Director of the company “Schneider of Kazakhstan”, Banu Mukataeva Narbekova, head of the administration of the content of education and training Department of higher and postgraduate education of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the visit was opening on the basis of KSTU Educational innovation center in the world renowned French company “Schneider electric”.
The financial resources allocated for training within SPIID-2 for the educational program “Robotics. Management system”, acquired the most modern equipment of “Schneider electric”.
The interaction between Schneider Electric and the University involves the training of students and master students on specialties “electric power engineering” and “automation and control”, improving the educational-laboratory base of the University, the organization of joint scientific and practical research in the field of automation of technological and energy processes (in particular, solving problems of energy efficiency), the organization of joint seminars, conferences, forums.
Educational program, developed based on the practices of the leading universities of the world such as the Vienna technical University, Berlin technical University, Michigan technological University, Swiss graduate school of engineering, the national research University St. Petersburg state Polytechnic University Peter the Great, the Baltic state technical University “VOENMEH” named after D. F. Ustinov.
Creation of innovative centers in the field of scientific research, engineering and advanced training of specialists in priority areas that are in demand in the real sector of the economy, is one of the most important directions of development of educational and research activities of the University and participation in the implementation of the Plan of the nation “100 concrete steps on the implementation of five institutional reforms” of the head of state N.A.Nazarbayev.
