October 15, KSTU was visited by the General Manager of the Corporate University “Arcelor Mittal” Christine Standard. To familiarize with conditions of training of specialists in the field of metallurgy and related industries for the guests was held a two-hour tour, during which were shown educational laboratory 20 innovation centers, exhibition hall. A. S. Saginov, where they were acquainted with the research projects and developments of scientists of KSTU.
Corporate University of “Arcelor Mittal” opened in Temirtau. This institution is the only Campus of the corporate University of the company in Kazakhstan and a sixth in the world. Its activities are aimed at providing access to continuous learning and improvement of skills of workers “Arcelor Mittal Temirtau” in accordance with individual needs.
The company “Arcelor Mittal” has decided to learn from Karaganda state technical University the experience in the formulation and solution of complex problems in the learning process of the engineering staff of the company.
