The result of the work of the international seminar “Training of experts on the reform of higher education and academic staff in the use of ICTs in educational process” with the organizational support of MES RK and the Kazakhstan office of the European programme Erasmus+ as well as the financial support of SPHERE – organization for the reform of higher education, the decision was made to create a course on development of massive open online courses (moocs) for employees and teachers of universities of Kazakhstan.
As of KazNU named after al-Farabi has experience in creating and running their MOOCs, we have developed a training course “Development of massive open online courses” which will take place on June 20-30, 2016 and consists of two parts:
June 20-22- in person in the form of lectures, workshops, discussions and group work;
June 23-30 – remotely in the learning management system, which will be on display all the materials and assignments of the course.
Upon completion of the course all students have completed the job will be awarded certificates of advanced training.

The participation fee is 45 thousand tenge per participant.
