Report on the Intellectual game “The four bright minds “
 in the framework of the project “Multilingualism as the basis of the formation of modern identity”

To disseminate policy of multilingual education, improve the level of English language proficiency, to promote innovative approaches in teaching English, identifying talented students and upbringing of patriotism among students Intellectual game ” (“The Four Bright Minds”) in 28.10.2014, in 209 audience of KSTU first building was held. It was conducted  in the English language among the students of the first course non-linguistic specialties of the city of Karaganda in the framework of the project “Multilingualism as the basis of the formation of modern identity”.

The event began with listening to the hymn, and speech of the head of the foreign languages Department (Jantassova D.D.) about the importance of three languages learning  and significance of events; then the word for congratulations was given to the Professor from the USA, Jeanette Bopry. Introduction of the participants, the draw and familiarity with the stages of Intellectual games were a continuation of the event. Participants in Intellectual games were the students of three universities: Karaganda state medical University, Karaganda economic University, Karaganda state technical University. The game consisted of three stages: the first stage – the “View”command, where it was necessary for participants in a creative way to represent your team, the second stage – “Own game”, this stage was represented by four categories: Traditions and culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Anniversary of the city, Idioms, Leader of the nation, Questions from teachers Karstu, each category consisted of questions from easy to difficult, the third stage – “captains Competition, where participants were asked to give definitions of terms your team. All stages of the competitions were evaluated by a competent jury: Jeanette Bopry, professor from the USA, Kakzhanova Sh.A. senior English teacher, Udartseva T.S.

The team of KSMU took first place , second place was taken by the students from the KEU and the third place was given to the team from KSTU. Participants were awarded with diplomas of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degrees and prizes.
