The event will take place in RM. 114 of the main body with the presentation of the sculptural composition of Metallurgists, a well-known sculptor, honorary citizen of Karaganda Anatoly Bilyk, a year ago deceased. For the city Anatoly Petrovich did incredibly much, creating the main character – “Miner’s glory” and dozens of other monuments and sculptures. This work, donated to the University by the relatives A. P. Bilyk, found a worthy place in the Museum of Honorary Professor of the University N. A. Nazarbayev.
Celebrations will continue in the square in front of the Main building of the University. The rector of the University and invited guests will lay flowers to the monument of the founder of our University Abilkas Saginovich Saginov.
