August 31, 2016 in the Assembly hall of Karaganda state technical University at 15.00 hosted a seminar on the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism among the students.
At the seminar, presentations were made by: R. A. Samatayev, the inspector on the rehabilitation work of the state study and analysis of the problems of interfaith relations of the Karaganda region”; E. U. Medvedeva, inspector, state investigation and analysis of problems of the interfaith relations of the Karaganda region”.
In the seminar participated the members of the Council of Elders, deans, senior curators of departments and curators of academic groups (400 people).
The aim of the seminar is the acquaintance with the religious situation in the region, the principles of the state policy in the regulation of religious relations, as well as informing them about the nature of religious movements, particularly non-traditional religious associations and the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism.
This seminar was conducted in preparation for the one-time curatorial hour on the theme “Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism among students,” which is scheduled for 1.09.2016, 11.30 362 groups 1 – 4 courses.
