5B070200 by specialty – “Automation and control” students are taught by 2 (two) areas of training:

– automation of technological processes and production;

– mechatronics and robotics.

The specialty 5B071800 – “Electricity” students are taught by four (4) areas of training:

– Electric and general industrial automation systems;

– Electric and automation technology complexes of mining;

– general industrial power supply companies;

– Electricity mining enterprises.

The specialty 6M070200 – “Automation and Control” graduate training is carried out by four (4) areas of training:

– automation of the electrical complexes mining and metallurgical industry;

– computer systems of technological control and management;

– automation of the fuel and energy complex;

– automation of technological processes and production (within the double-diploma education.

The specialty 6M071800 – ” Electricity ” graduate training is carried out in the framework of the “Electric drive and automation of technological complexes” one (1) training direction:

– electric electrotechnical complexes mining and metallurgical production.

Participation of the department in the implementation of pilot programs approved by the MES RK-realization GPIIR-2

KSTU on a competitive basis was included in the national program GPIIR-2, according to which trains specialists in the OP profile graduate majoring 6M070200 “Automation and Control” trajectory “Robotics. Control Systems “(2 educational trajectories:” Automation of technological complexes “,” Management of industrial robots “) for companies involved in the state program of industrial-innovative development. To protect the 62 undergraduates were admitted. Education is carried out on the equipment of the world leading companies in the field of automation SIEMENS, FESTO, MITSUBISHI, Schneider Electriс using licensed software: WinCC SCADA-systems, Genesis, STEP7 PLC programming language.
