Based on the assessment of leading foreign experts, the Karaganda State Technical University significantly improved its position in the international uniRank rating and took an honorable second place among corporate websites of Kazakhstani universities, rising by 2 positions in comparison with the latest indicators (4th place)! In the world ranking, the KSTU website has rapidly risen 1603 positions up and occupies 2765 place in the world. A total of 108 universities in Kazakhstan and 13,000 universities in the world were analyzed.
One of the largest rating agencies of web resources 4 International Colleges & University (4ICU) published the results of the ranking of university sites. For 10 years, 4ICU has been conducting a comprehensive assessment of the online resources of accredited universities and colleges. The rating includes data on 13,000 universities from 200 countries, ranked by the popularity of their websites. The popularity of university portals is determined on the basis of five indicators, among which are: assessment of site traffic and its “importance”, number of links and the importance of referring resources, domain citation volume, number of cross-links, as well as the depth of viewing a web resource.
