On January 21 KSTU visited charge d’affaires of the USA in Kazakhstan Michael Klechesky.
KSTU is among the 10 major higher education institutions, which provide training of competitive specialists for projects of SPIID-2 based on the communication of science, education and production.
Today KSTU has concluded agreements for specific training of 1862 specialists with 80 companies-projects of the industrialization Map of Karaganda region.
Between the rector of KSTU, academician of NAS RK A. M. Gazaliev and distinguished guest from the USA will be a specific discussion, which will be scheduled program of cooperation of the University with the leading universities of the USA on the new priority specialties: “Nanotechnology in metallurgy”, “Smelting processes”, “Steel production”, “Engineering in mining”, “Geotechnical engineering”, “Engineering of mining- metallurgical complex”, “Technology and equipment of welding production” and “Robotics”.
