The Department of Russian and Foreign languages of KSTU held annual Internet-Olympiad on Russian language among pupils of 11 grades of all types of schools with Kazakh and Russian language of study in order to preserve and increase the intellectual potential of the region and city, promoting the educational-cognitive activity of gifted children, and realization of their possibilities, the development of information technologies in the educational process.
The first round of the Internet-Olympiad on Russian language was correspondence round, the teachers of the department prepared a test on Russian language. In the first round, 61 people were registered, 31 of them passed to the second round.
The right of choosing the winners was provided to a highly qualified jury, its membership included: Ospanova B.R. – Candidate of Phil.Sciences, Associate Professor, Director of the Innovation Center of Multilingualism, head of the Department of Russian and Foreign languages of KSTU; Akynzhanova A.A. – senior lecturer of the Department of Russian and Foreign languages; Timokhina T.V. – senior lecturer of the Department of Russian and Foreign Languages; Kishenova A.Yu. – lecturer of the Department of Russian and Foreign languages.
The second round was held on 19 January 2017, which revealed the following winners:
1st place – Aiym Shegebayeva, Karaganda, NIS CBD;
2nd place – Sakeyev Aisulu, Karaganda region, Shet district, Zh.Akylbayev school-gymnasium;
3rd place – Temirbulatova Togzhan, Karaganda, school №12 .
The winners and teachers were awarded with prizes, certificates and diplomas.
