‘Graduate-2017’


6 December  2016, traditional fair ‘Graduate-2017’ was held at 10:00 at Karaganda State Technical University.

In 2017, more than 1,500 qualified bachelors  majoring in technical and engineering specialties will be graduated from KSTU. That event was aimed at search and efficient employment assistance for graduates. The fair allowed participants to obtain the necessary information concerning their vacancies, and employers were able to evaluate the business qualities of candidates and to attract young professionals. It was attended by over 500 students and nearly 100 employers, including the state and private enterprises, international organizations and national companies. There were companies that were seriously interested in upgrading their staff among organizations-participants, and there were those who had expressed a desire to take CVs of young professionals in the reserve. During the event, graduate students were able to communicate directly with employers and to pass a quick interview. The exhibition jobs with stands and other presentation materials of the enterprises were organized for the participants in the 1st building of KSTU.

Long-term experience in the fair of ‘Graduate of KSTU’ showed that this method of attracting employers to the problems of young people is the most effective. This event was an important mechanism of solving the unemployment problem among young people.
