The first regional forum “G – global. The world of the XXI century” was held on the last day of March in the regional branch of the party “Nur Otan”. The representatives of business, science, associations and administrative institutions of the region spoke in front of the guests. The purpose of the forum was not only a demonstration of the readiness of our region to participate in the EXPO, but also the discussion of critical issues in the field of technical, economic and social development of the region.
Over five hundred people attended this event. The head of the International Secretariat of G-Global S. Nugerbekov; organizer of Amanat Award – President of Public Fund “Adamdardyn eleuli zhetistikteri” Z. Beissova; public figure, PhD M. Zholdassbekov and many other representatives of the domestic public were among them.
The exhibition of achievements of our artisans and representatives of ethno-cultural organizations of the region was organized on the first floor. More than twenty national centres showed the products created in ethnic style, as well as literature dedicated to the traditions and customs of the nation.
The achievements of universities in the development of clean energy were demonstrated on the second floor. Three projects, developed by the specialists of our University were shown to the public. Demonstration of the process of hydrodynamic heaters of the static type, developed by Professor of KSTU V.N. Kuchin was showed, as well as the principle of the device of protection against leakage currents of electrical equipment for open cast mining brainchild of his colleague I.V. Breydo, and the benefits of using a steam heater of negative pressure (SEHNP) for objects invented by Candidate of Technical Sciences A.D. Mekhtiyev.
In the beginning of the Plenary meeting devoted to the discussion of the main points of the event were made by the akim of Karaganda region Yerlan Koshanov. In his speech, he especially emphasized the fact that Karaganda has become the first platform for this event, which will be held then in other regions of the Republic.
A cycle of regional forums will be finished with a grandiose event in Astana at the opening EXPO – 2017.
