Financial basis of SCO University’s functioning is its budget, which must provide:
• functioning of coordinating (executive) Board, Secretariat and expert groups of SCO University;
• development of a coherent educational programmes;
• carrying out of working meetings on the problems of development SCO University;
• scholarship provision of international mobility programme of SCO University;
• coverage of universities’ expenses for teaching of foreign students on programmes of tSCO University.
•Budget of SCO University is formed from a variety of sources:
• means of respective ministries of SCO member States or target programmes;
• contributions from member countries of Organization in the framework of development of SCO structures;
• extra-budgetary (contractual) funds of students’ education;
• other sources.
Financing of specific activities should be made from a variety of sources. For example, development of harmonized education programmes and carrying out of working meetings should be funded from the funds of relevant ministries of SCO member States, and functioning of coordinating Council and Secretariat of SCO University of mutually agreed budget of all participants of the project.
