From September 1, 2014 department of “Geology and exploration of mineral deposits” carries out of students PhD in accordance with the license of MES RK (order of MES of RK dated 22.10.2012 №12014940).
PhD students pass obligatory scientific training in the foreign scientific heads of the leading scientific and educational centers during of writing a doctoral thesis.
Requirements for applicants for admission to doctoral studies PhD
KSTU:
– Master’s degree;
– Availability mastered obligatory disciplines-prerequisites;
– Tendency to research activities (desirable to have scientific publications in the authoritative scientific editions);
– Availability of the prospective scientific advisors (domestic and foreign).
Applicants for admission to the doctoral studies PhD they have to pass two entrance exams – on foreign language and specialty.
The entrance examination on a foreign language (English, French, German) will be passed in the form of testing by technologies of the National Center of state educational standards and by the testing of the Ministry Education and Science of RK.
