The Department of «Technological equipment, engineering and standardization»

The idea of indissoluble connection of the educational process with scientific researches founded and developed at the department, republican and international scientific – technical conferences with participation of scientists of leading universities annually.

The aim of the department: – improving the quality and quantity of the educational process; – improving the efficiency of educational and methodical process; – development of a complex of fundamental and applied research, involvement in scientific activities of teachers and students; – round development of student personality on the basis of educational work.

The department provides training for bachelor 5B071200 “MachineBbuilding”, 5B073200 “Standardization, Metrology and Certification (by industry)”, 5B072400 – “Technological machinery and equipment”, Masters – 6M071200 “Machinebuilding” 6M073200 “Standardization and Certification (by industry),” 6M075000 “Metrology”, 6M072400 – “Technological machinery and equipment”, PhD – 6D071200 “Machinebuilding”.

The Department uses in the educational process leading scientific and educational achievements in the field of higher education training, enhance the quality of education that encourage creativity of teachers in teaching methods and organizational work. The department is equipped with modern experimental and laboratory facilities, and is constantly working to improve it. Department of TM since its inception, is one of the leading departments, not only in KSTU, but also in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Department “Technology of Machine Building” provides training highly qualified specialists and thus makes a significant contribution to the development of machine-building complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan providing our country a worthy place in the world community.

Department graduates of “Technological machinery and equipment” speciality will acquire knowledge in the design and operation of mining equipment, learn how to perform calculations for the design of details, refer to the technical documentation and standards of development efforts. Graduates of this speciality will always be in demand in the labor market.
