October 20-21, 2012 in the first educational building of KSTU will be municipal debate tournament of Akim’s Cup of Karaganda.
Debates – are clearly structured and specially organized public thoughts exchange between two sides on actual themes. This kind of public discussion of debate participants directing on over persuasion in the rightness of the third side, not each other. That’s why verbal and non-verbal means which are used by debate participants have aim only of definite result- to form listeners’ positive impression from own position.
Organizers of the debate tournament is public association “Association of KSTU students organizations “Zhas Orda””. Project is implemented on order of SA “Department of internal policy of Karaganda”.
The objective of this event is bringing young people’s civil activity up, raising of social and creative activity of students, development of students debate movement in the region.
Participants of the city tournament are crews which present universities and colleges of Karaganda. Solemn opening will be October 20, at 9.30 in auditorium 207 of the first building of KSTU.
