August 9, at KSTU akim of the region Baurzhan Abdishev held a meeting on the development of construction complex of the region.
The meeting was timed to coincide with the exhibition, which presented their products to more than 40 enterprises of building industry of Karaganda, Balkhash, Saran, Temirtau, Shakhtinsk and a number of rural areas.
Opening the meeting, akim of the region noted, that construction complex has significant macroeconomic effects and impact on structural changes in the economy. 40 thousand people work here. Only in construction there are more than 800 enterprises and the volume of produced construction works over the last five years has increased almost in 2 times.
7 branches are included in composition of construction materials industry, providing about 150 companies with the total number of employees about 6 thousand people.
Consumers of building materials are directly construction, almost all industries, transport, agriculture, services, trade, science, culture and education.
At the same time, in the construction complex has a range of problems to be resolved. This is, first of all, decrease in volumes of manufacture of building materials because of heavy wear of the equipment, the low quality of design of construction projects due to lack of qualified specialists and weak industrial and scientific and technical base.
– In accordance with the instruction of the Head of state solution to all the above questions is to be done with the direct participation of the state on the basis of realization of measures on protection of the producer in Kazakhstan, the use of subsidies, leasing schemes, investment funds, and development of public-private partnership, – emphasized akim of the region.
Then various aspects of the development of the construction complex were considered on the meeting.
On development of the building materials industry issues, word was given to the head of Department of entrepreneurship and industry Galym Ashimov.
About the state of Affairs in the sphere of construction area and increasing the share of Kazakhstan component in the usage of construction materials reported to the head of construction Department of Samat Murzatayev.
Supplementary report on this issue was made by Ruslan Khusainov – Deputy Chairman of Board of «Kazakhstan’s housing and Construction Corporation», created in support of Affordable housing program-2020».
Head of Department of architecture and urban planning Kairat Jiembayev, acting head of the Department of state architectural-building control and licensing Lyubov Zolotar, head of Department of Committee on technical regulation and Metrology Zholdasbek Ongarbaev and the head of the education authority Esengazy Imangaliev acted on the meeting.
Then there was an exchange of views on the discussed issue.
The head of the region said that this meeting takes place on the eve of the professional holiday – Day of the Builder.
– I would like to congratulate workers of the construction sector of our region with their professional holiday. From the bottom of my heart thanks for your hard work. Without you there would not be a superb and comfortable buildings and structures, our apartments and houses. Your work is the face of the region,- said Baurzhan Abdishev.
In conclusion, the most distinguished workers of the construction complex were awarded with honorary badges «Kazakhstan’s honourary builders of Kazakhstan», honorary diploma and letter of gratitude of the Committee for construction and housing utilities of the Ministry for regional development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also honorary diplomas and letter of thanks of akim of the region.
