On June 22, the annual meeting of University graduates with representatives of the largest industry enterprises of the region was held in KSTU. For 18 years of its existence, the event “Graduate-KSTU” gave a direct ticket to a successful working life of thousands of talented young professionals.
Today, competition for jobs is becoming one of the most important problems for young people who have just received University diplomas. At the same time, companies just need an influx of fresh forces, new professionals, focusing in the rapidly changing technological world today. Therefore, it is not surprising that the “Graduate of KSTU” always causes a stir among both employers and job seekers.
The event “Graduate KSTU — 2018” was no exception. This year, jobs have been provided by about 120 enterprises and state organizations in various fields. Among them are AK “Karagandanerud”, AK “National company “KazMunaiGas”, AK “National oil and gas company “Transoil”, AK “Shubarkol Komir”, AK “Karagandaenergoremont”, AK “National company” Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, AK “Kazaktelekom”, AK “Kazkommertsbank”, AK “Halyk Bank”, AK “KMZ im. Parkhomenko”, “Zhezkazgan copper smelting plant,” AK “КЕGОК”, AK “Imstalcon”, JSC KLMZ “Maker” (“Maker”), JSC “Urilist”, JSC “Karagandy Zholdary”, JSC “Bogatyr coal”, JSC “Mashzavod №1”, SE “Karaganda factory of electrical equipment”, BPH “Chemical-metallurgical Institute named after Zh. Abishev”, Branch JSC “Maker” – Karaganda foundry-machine building plant”, JSC “Karaganda Promstroyproekt”, JSC “Karagandy Zholdary”, AK “Bus fleet №3”, JSC “Gorkomtrans” and others.
For 2017-2018 academic year, the Job Fair for graduates of 2018 is held for the second time. On December 5, 2017, the first Graduate-2018 Fair was held, to which 123 enterprises were invited, from the following regions: Karaganda, Astana, Akmola, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Zhambyl, North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Kyzylorda and Karaganda regions. From 1326 graduates representatives of employers concluded 1160 agreements on prior employment.
