This year, both at the state and international level, large-scale events are being organized in honor of the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh thinker, poet, philosopher and educator Abay Kunanbayev. Such events are held within the framework of the “rukhani zhangyru” program and are aimed at spiritual and moral development, continuity of knowledge and education of patriotism of the new generation. After all, Abay’s works have a high educational value and remain relevant at all times. On the eve of the anniversary of the thinker, President of Kazakhstan Kasymzhomart Tokayev wrote an article “Abay and Kazakhstan in the XXI century”. Many Kazakhstanis responded to the publication of this article and expressed their impressions. Head of the Department of Russian language and culture, associate Professor Ospanova B. R. shared her vivid impressions about the article on the pages of the popular Republican newspaper “Bilimdi El”.
