“Ulystyk Uly kuni – great day of Nauryz”

March 18, 2019 at 13.00. in the “Creative Laboratory of Languages” (aud. 530), the department of the NRMS held an event “Ulystyk Uly Kuni – Great Day of Nauryz”, dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz Meiramy.

The objectives of the event were:

– strengthening national unity and patriotism;

– fostering a sense of understanding and respect for the culture of their people;

– the formation of knowledge of the customs and traditions of the people.

The event was attended by students gr. W 18-1, PS 18-1, Met 18-1 (coverage – more than 50 people). The event was a testament to the fact that our young people know and respect the national traditions and customs of the ancient holiday Nauryz. The students demonstrated the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, namely: Azan Shanyru, Besekke salu, Tsuau kesu, etc. Each custom was accompanied by a story about the history of its origin and significance. National songs and dances were also performed, a video about the history of the native land was shown. The whole event was built in the form of small costumed scenes, the plot of which was based on the arrival of a guest from the UK, who first came to Kazakhstan to get acquainted with our history and traditions. At the same time, the participants of the event were able to show a good level of proficiency in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.

On the same day, March 18, 2019, but two hours earlier (from 11.00 to 13.00.) In the lobby of the 1st building on the 5th floor, as part of the celebration of Nauryz, a charity fair of national dishes and handicrafts made by students was organized and launched. and teachers. The main goal of the fair was the desire to provide material assistance to a 7-month-old child Bolganbaeva Dilnaz, suffering from a severe form of eye disease. In addition, such events contribute to the inculcation of a love of work and creativity, because crafts and dishes of national cuisine made by the students and teachers themselves were presented at the fair. Many students responded and brought boxes, charms, bracelets of their own production that day (for example: Amandyk Toregeldy – gr. ARH-18-1c, Sayatova Diana – gr. BT-18-3), baked bauyrsaki, flatbread, cakes, brushwood and another pastry (Beysenbayeva Laura, Kabzhanova Zhansaya, Amantai Aday – gr. PS-18-1, Baltin Aybek – gr. EE-18-1). But perhaps the most important thing is that such actions raise students’ feelings of mutual help and compassion for their neighbor.

The event was attended by all teachers of the department, many of whom also brought home-made dishes (Tazhibaeva SM, Akynzhanova AA, Kabanova AB, Azimbaeva Zh.A.) Funds raised from the fair (38.000 tenge) were handed personally to the father of a sick child, A. Bolganbaev, a teacher of the military department of our university.
